How to make a PNG transparent
Choose an image, drop it on the box or paste it. If it's clipart, a logo or a scan on one flat color, like the white around a JPG design, that color comes off exactly and at once. Move the slider up if a faint edge is left, or down if bits of the design go too. Tick the inside option to clear spots the design surrounds, like the middle of a letter O.
For a photo, press Remove background. The first time, your browser downloads the remover once (about 44 MB); after that each photo takes a few seconds, all on your device. You get a full-size transparent PNG, set to 300 DPI and trimmed to the design with a little clear space around it (or none, or more), ready for Cricut Design Space, a sublimation print or a sticker sheet.
