Which graph paper to print
Quarter-inch squares (four to the inch) are the standard school graph paper, with a darker line every inch so it's easy to count. Use it for plotting graphs, drawing shapes and area, lining up long multiplication, or sketching a room to scale. Five squares to the inch, 1/5 inch, is what engineering pads use.
Half-inch squares suit younger hands and big diagrams. If you work in metric, 1 cm squares are good for math in the early grades and 5 mm squares for older students and science. Lines print light, so pencil shows up clearly on top.
Other sheets: lined paper, dot grid paper, handwriting paper, or every printable paper option.
